The Creative Industry in Kenya has played a major role in economic development of cities i.e by creating job opportunities, encouraging urban regeneration and as a promoter of urban development as an essential component of broader development plans.
The role of creative industries ranges from urban regeneration; the integration of creativity in urban development projects; the current creative economy indicators; policies to address creative diversity and social inclusion issues within the communities; and the potential of creative projects for community empowerment and involvement.
